AI & Quantum and (Corporate) Venturing

This event is organized in collaboration with ROM InWest and Startup Village. Startup Village (powered by UvA Ventures) is a community of startups and network partners focused on AI and Quantum. It is a vibrant place where startups apply new technologies to bring innovation forward and make our lives better. Startup Village facilitates interaction, collaboration, and knowledge exchange between Science, the Startup Ecosystem, and Business.

At 11:00 AM, you will be welcomed by Femmie Geradts, Director of Startup Village, who will provide a brief introduction to Startup Village. Following that, Evangelos Kanoulas, Professor of Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam, will deliver a keynote on the future outlook of AI and Quantum Computing.

During lunch, we will engage in discussions with six AI startups. After lunch, we’ll dive deeper into the AI and Quantum startup/investor landscape and its developments through a panel discussion with various stakeholders. Additionally, as corporate venturing professionals, we can leverage AI in our own work. Two startups will demonstrate how this can be achieved.

We will conclude the program with a Startup Village & Amsterdam Science Park tour, incl. Quantum Demo Lab + Quix Amsterdam and LAB42.. We will end the day with networking drinks.
