CVN recently contributed to an event organised by the Amsterdam Economic Board, Startup Village, ROM InWest, and the Municipality of Amsterdam, focused on how startups and large organisations can collaborate more effectively to drive innovation and scale impact. Together with Professor Vareska Van de Vrande of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, we delivered both a keynote and a workshop on corporate venturing, open innovation, and startup-corporate collaboration. We explored how organisations can work with innovative startups in practice, what startups need to scale successfully within existing structures, and how partnership design and ecosystem collaboration can help turn innovation into real business opportunities. CVN also joined the panel discussion, where we reflected on key challenges, lessons learned, and ways to strengthen collaboration across the Amsterdam region.
