Corporate-startup collaboration is HOT!

Prof. Vareska van de Vrande of Erasmus/RSM moderated a panel at  on the topic at The IMPACT Circle at Love Tomorrow, which was a great venue, interesting talks, and fascinating programme. Actually, the Tomorrowland motto "Live today, Love tomorrow, Unite forever" can certainly be applied to corporate-startup partnerships as well!

She moderated the panel with experienced corporate innovators Ana Casaca from Galp, Andre Convents from Procter & Gamble, Victor Pacheco from Holcim, and Yousef Yousef from the EIC - European Innovation Council.

Next she was off to the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Copenhagen for two(!) PDWs on the topic, plus the presentation of two research papers. In the PDWs we will be discussing recent trends and methodological approaches to corporate venturing research, and the research papers will focus on the risk of partnership termination following the recalibration of alliance portfolios when one of the partners has experienced a successful product launch (with Pierre Gautreau, P.Eng, MBA) and the consequence of network turnover for corporate VCs (with Jitse Duijsters).
